3 years agoCleveland Indians relief pitcher Jean Carlos Mejia will start Wednesday afternoon's game against the Chicago White Sox. The Indians were scheduled to start Eli Morgan in this one, but perhaps they decided otherwise after he allowed six earned runs across just 2 2/3 innings pitched in his debut against the Toronto Blue Jays Friday night. Mejia has been a solid reliever in 2021 as he has posted a 0.00 ERA and seven strikeouts across his first five innings pitched. He is someone worth keeping an eye on in this start as the Indians could desperately use rotation help right now, but is not a recommended streaming option vs. the White Sox.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
