3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura (groin) was activated off the injured list on Tuesday and will start versus the Marlins. Segura will bat second versus Trevor Rogers, certainly a tough matchup having not played an MLB game since June 15. Before going down with a groin injury Segura was one of the hottest hitters in the Philly lineup. In the first two weeks of June, Segura batted .372 with a .859 OPS and, most importantly, two stolen bases as the veteran seems more intent on running this season as he's got six thefts already in 2021.
