Jean Segura Day-To-Day With Arm Infection
7 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura is day-to-day with a right forearm infection, per mlb.com. Segura is being treated with antibiotics and was not in the lineup as the Mariners took the loss 4-3 to the Yankees on Thursday. Segura is having an All-Star season, slashing .334/.359/.480 with two triples, six home runs, 14 stolen bases, 21 doubles, 44 runs batted in and 52 runs scored. He has 32 mutli-hit games this season and is an integral part of an improved Mariners offense this season. Andrew Romine will fill in for Segura until he is cleared to play.
