3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura (knee) is considered day-to-day, according to skipper Joe Girardi. The 31-year-old is currently dealing with minor knee soreness, although it was enough to keep him out of the lineup during the series opener against the Pirates. His status moving ahead isn't know, although it wouldn't be a surprise if he missed a few more games. Segura has played exceptionally well this season, currently batting .306, with 90 hits, 41 runs, 33 RBI, and seven stolen bases.
