Jean Segura Exits Tuesday's Game Early After HBP
2 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura (hand) exited Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants after getting hit in the right hand by a pitch. He was squaring up to bunt and the ball hit him in the right hand during the seventh inning. The 32-year-old went 1-for-3 with a run scored before exiting. The severity of Segura's injury is unknown at this time, so fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day until further notice. He will most likely undergo X-rays, and more information about his hand injury will be known after the game. Bryson Stott replaced him in the game. If Segura is forced to miss any games, Stott would see an uptick in at-bats.
