Jean Segura Has 12-Game On-Base Streak Snapped
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura went 0-for-4 against the Cubs on Wednesday night to snap a 12-game on-base streak. Segura has been excellent batting atop the Philly batting order; he's hit first or second in every game since June 1 and is batting .327 with a sturdy .398 on-base percentage. Most importantly for his fantasy value, Segura has two steals in that span and six on the season as Segura has shown a renewed willingness to attempt steals this year. If Segura is available he should be added in fantasy as he should continue to provide help in batting average and runs scored batting ahead of Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto.
