Jean Segura Has Huge Game On Labor Day
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura went 4-for-5 with a home run, five RBI, and two runs scored in a wild win over the Mets Monday. Segura started early with a three-run double to open the scoring in the first inning. He'd leave his mark at the end of the game as well launching a two-run homer in the tenth inning which proved to be the difference in the game. It was a huge game for Segura, but he came into the game batting just .237 and has completely stopped running as he has just two steals. He's a low-end starter at a weak second base position, but has some nice matchups lined up with a bad Boston pitching staff.
