7 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura (wrist) underwent X-rays on his left wrist after he was hit by a pitch in the eighth inning on Friday. The X-rays came back negative, but he was wearing a large ice wrap and will see how he feels on Saturday. Segura was hitless in four plate appearances on Friday with one run scored. He's been invaluable for fantasy owners this year, hitting .306 with nine home runs, 55 RBI, 17 stolen bases and 78 runs scored. Be prepared to be without him for a day or two, but he looks to have avoided a serious injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
