Jean Segura Homers In Win Over Mets On Sunday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies second baseman Jean Segura went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a win over the Mets on Sunday. Segura got the Phillies on the board early, launching a first-inning homer off of Mets starter Taijuan Walker. The veteran middle infielder can flash occasional power as the homer was his eighth of the season, however; it's his on-base skills that have made Segura an asset in fantasy. Segura is batting .308 this season as he's got at least one hit in 19 of his last 20 games. He's settled into the two-hole in the batting order and should continue to get on base and score runs ahead of Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto. Segura is a strong 2B option in fantasy, despite tough matchups with the Dodgers this week.
