Jean Segura Leaves Game After HBP
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Jean Segura was removed from Monday's exhibition game after being hit by a pitch in the hand. The extent of the injury is unclear and Segura will surely get an X-ray to determine the extent of the injury. If Segura were to miss time, Scott Kingery has experience playing third base so he could move over to third with Neil Walker or Josh Harrison taking over second base duties. Then there is top-prospect Alec Bohm. Bohm mashed across two levels of the minors last season, but has not played above Double-A so Philadelphia may be hesitant to throw him into their everyday lineup right away.
