7 years agoSeattle Seahawks shortstop Jean Segura (hamstring) left the Cactus League game early Wednesday with right hamstring tightness. The Mariners have been extremely unlucky with injuries in spring training, as outfielder Ichiro Suzuki was also hurt Wednesday night, and Nelson Cruz and Robinson Cano have also been injured of late. Segura is the team's spark plug at the top of the lineup, and speed is definitely part of his game (22 steals last year), so a leg injury is not what fantasy owners want to see. Segura also batted .300 with 11 homers and 45 RBI last year, so he's certainly a valuable fantasy shortstop. Stay tuned for more information on his ailment.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
