5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura (personal) is still away from the team and will not be in the lineup Tuesday. Segura traveled back to the Dominican Republic on Sunday to be with his family due to the passing of his grandmother and will likely be there for a few days. Scott Kingery draws another start at short and will bat seventh in his absence. Kingery has been red-hot over the last three games, going 5-for-12 with two runs, one home run and five RBI and is an excellent option for those in DFS leagues or for fantasy owners looking for a streaming option with the struggling Lucas Sims taking the mound for Cincinnati. Update: Phillies manager Gabe Kapler said Segura is on his way to Cincinnati and should be available off the bench tonight according to a tweet from Matt Gelb of The Athletic.--Joseph Magazzinich
