7 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura (foot) was scratched from the lineup against the A's on Thursday. It's a shame that the M's won't have one of the best players for the first game of a pivotal four-game series against their division-rivals. However, X-rays were negative after Segura fouled a ball off his foot on Wednesday, and he should be able to return sometime this weekend. Segura is a must-start in all leagues anytime he's playing. Dee Gordon will move over to shortstop and Robinson Cano will man the keystone.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
