5 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies third baseman Jean Segura was scratched from the lineup Thursday due to illness. Top-prospect Alec Bohm will man the hot corner for the Phillies in their Spring Training game vs the Blue Jays. Segura is not injured, so he should be back in action soon and have plenty of time to prepare for Opening Day. Segura disappointed fantasy owners last season, stealing only 10 bases after swiping 20-plus each of the previous six seasons. He'll likely have more chances to run with Gabe Kapler out as manager and should score plenty of runs batting near the top of a stacked Phillies lineup, giving him nice bounce-back appeal in the middle rounds of fantasy drafts.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
