6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura will try and break free from a 4-for-29 slump when the team opens up a series with the Astros on Monday. Segura is hitting only .195 in the month of September after being one of the most consistent hitters in the Mariners lineup this season. He has, however, been fantastic hitting on the road this season. In 65 away games this season, Segura is slashing .337/.385/.443 with 30 runs batted in and 50 runs scored. The Astros will send to the mound left-hander Framber Valdez on Monday and Segura is hitting .318 against lefties this season. Segura may be slumping but has a favorable matchup to break loose in DFS on Monday.--Joey C - RotoBaller
