6 years agoOakland Athletics second baseman Jed Lowrie went 0-for-5 with two strikeouts in Thursday's win over the Rays. The 34-year-old started the season on fire but is hitting just .204 with a .302 on-base percentage and a .296 slugging percentage in his last 15 games. Lowrie still has a solid .299/.362/.493 slash line for the season with 14 doubles, so hopefully this slump is just part of the ebb and flow of the season.
