5 years agoLos Angeles Kings center Jeff Carter, who had a horrible first couple of weeks of the season, is slowly starting to show signs of life. The two-time Stanley Cup champion has three points across the last three games after scoring in Thursday's loss to St. Louis. Alex Iafallo also found the net for the Kings. Carter took a huge step back in 2018-19, going from a 60-point scorer to a 30-point guy and his early-season form in 2019-20 suggests he won't get anywhere near 40 points again. However, he's having plenty of scoring opportunities on a team that's firing off a league-high 37.7 shots on goal per game.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
