3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman (shoulder) has been cleared to begin a minor league rehab assignment in Triple-A. He has been out for roughly a month due to a right shoulder impingement. There's a good chance that Hoffman will need a few rehab starts before he is able to rejoin the Reds rotation. Before going down, Hoffman posted a 4.61 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, and 39/27 K/BB ratio through 41 innings. He's probably not an asset in standard leagues, but could offer help to deep league managers when he does return.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
