Jeff Hoffman Goes Four Innings On Tuesday
4 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Jeff Hoffman allowed three runs over four innings in a 7-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday. Hoffman struck out four and walked two in the start. He took the loss, dropping his record to 2-3 with a 4.70 ERA, 1.47 WHIP, and 27 strikeouts over 30 2/3 innings of work. Hoffman got off to a decent start this season but he has allowed seven runs over 6 1/3 innings spanning his past two starts. Hoffman will not be a recommended fantasy option in any league for his next start, which will come against the Colorado Rockies in Coors Field.
