3 years agoCincinnati Reds starting pitcher Jeff Hoffman (shoulder) said that he will be activated from the injured list and start Wednesday's game against the Mets, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. Hoffman has been out since late May with a right shoulder impingement, but before then he was having a decent season by going 3-4 with a 4.61 ERA, 1.585 WHIP and 20.7 percent strikeout rate. This could prove to be a decent matchup for Hoffman, as the Mets are hitting slightly worse against right-handed pitching this year (.227/.307/.366) than against left-handers (.235/.318/.381). He could be a decent streaming option in deeper formats for that outing.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
