3 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is expected to rejoin the team by Monday night's meeting against Atlanta. There is also a chance the slugger could make it back for the series finale against the Nationals on Sunday, which is good news considering the Metropolitans will play two games on Saturday. McNeil has been out of commission since mid-May because of a strained hamstring, and his presence in the lineup will likely mean less playing time for Jose Peraza and Luis Guillorme moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
