4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. McNeil went deep in the third inning off Diamondbacks starter, Merrill Kelly, one night after getting into an argument in the tunnel with Francisco Lindor. Perhaps that was the motivation McNeil needed to jumpstart his 2021 season as he is hitting just .227 to begin the 2021 campaign. He will look to keep it rolling this weekend and in the Mets' upcoming series against the Baltimore Orioles.--Kipp Heisterman - RotoBaller
