2 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil left Friday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies with a laceration on his right thumb. McNeil went 0-for-1 in the game before departing, getting replaced in the lineup by Tyler Naquin. The veteran second baseman may miss a game or so with the cut but this does not sound like a serious injury. McNeil is hitting .306 with seven homers, 48 runs, 46 RBI, and two steals in 2022.--Matt T - RotoBaller
