Jeff McNeil Resting Saturday
2 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil is not in the starting lineup on Saturday against the Texas Rangers. It will be a regular day of rest for McNeil, so fantasy managers need to make sure to remove him from their daily lineups. The 30-year-old doesn't supply much power, but he's an excellent source for batting average and on-base percentage with a season slash line of .319/.378/.451 with an .829 OPS, four home runs, 33 RBI, 34 runs scored and two stolen bases in 259 plate appearances over 68 games. Luis Guillorme will handle the keystone on Saturday and he is hitting eighth against Rangers left-hander Martin Perez. Guillorme has a nice .299 average in 55 games played, but he offers little pop and has hit just .250 (11-for-44) with zero homers against lefties this season.
