2 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil will be activated from the paternity list before Thursday night's game against the Chicago Cubs on the road. McNeil missed the last three games while on the paternity list, but he'll be back in the Mets' starting lineup on Thursday against Cubs right-hander Keegan Thompson. The 30-year-old left-handed hitter doesn't provide much power, but he's hitting a strong .311/.371/.436 on the year with an .807 OPS, four home runs, 35 RBI, 38 runs scored and two stolen bases in 264 at-bats.
