2 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is back at second base and is batting eighth on Tuesday against Houston Astros left-hander Framber Valdez. McNeil has been out over a week with right hamstring tightness, but he'll be back in there on Tuesday for fantasy managers. Before his injury, the 30-year-old was carrying an eight-game hitting streak, so hopefully he can keep it going now that he's back. Overall, he's hitting .327/.386/.465 with an .850 OPS, four home runs, 33 RBI, 33 runs scored and two stolen bases in 226 at-bats for the Mets. McNeil doesn't have much power to speak of, but he'll certainly help in the batting average and on-base percentage departments.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
