Jeff McNeil With Three Hits On Wednesday
4 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil went 3-for-5 with an RBI and run scored in the Mets 7-3 win over the Braves on Wednesday. Since returning from time spent on the 10-day injured list due to a hamstring strain on June 21, McNeil is now batting .333 over 12 at-bats. On the season, McNeil is slashing .252/.341/.369 with three home runs and nine RBI over 111 at-bats and 35 games. McNeil could continue to see more time as the Mets leadoff hitter while Jonathan Villar (calf) remains sidelined with a day-to-day calf injury. Notwithstanding, once he moves back to the middle of the Mets order, McNeil will still provide fantasy managers with solid batting average and on-base-percentage to go with a good number of runs and RBI.
