4 years agoNew York Mets third baseman/outfielder Jeff McNeil (stomach) was back in the lineup on Tuesday and went 3-for-4 in the Mets 4-1 loss to the Phillies. McNeil had left the Mets game on Sunday against Toronto due to gastrointestinal discomfort. Fortunately, McNeil did not miss any time due to the issue. McNeil, who remains red-hot of late, is batting .331 with four home runs and 21 RBI on the season. Managers should confidently leave McNeil active in lineups through the remainder of the season for the stretch run.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
