5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija pitched well but did not get any help from his offense in Thursday's 1-0 loss to the Cubs. Shark pitched seven innings, allowing a single run on two hits and a walk with four strikeouts. The veteran has pitched well this season and is now 9-10 with a 3.44 ERA, 123 strikeouts, and 39 walks in 146 2/3 IP this season.
