7 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on Wednesday, and he'll likely make two starts before he rejoins the rotation. Samardzija has either been ineffective or injured in 2018, and he hasn't made a start since July 14. Fantasy owners won't be rushing to add him back in most leagues when he returns to the big leagues for the final month-plus.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
