3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (knee) will make his season debut on Sunday, while rookie Elijah Mitchell (ribs) will also play. With those two players active, rookie Trey Sermon will be a healthy scratch. It's unclear how the Niners will handle the Wilson/Mitchell split, but the fact that Sermon is inactive suggests that Mitchell is healthy enough to see a good chunk of the workload, especially if the team tries to bring Wilson along slowly. There's RB2 upside with Mitchell, but he'll also have a lower floor than normal with both Wilson and JaMycal Hasty in the fold.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
