6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jeffery Wilson (shoulder) exited Week 17’s game early with a shoulder injury and did not return. Wilson registered nine yards on three carries prior to going down. It’s a tough break for the undrafted rookie who had an opportunity to demonstrate his workhorse abilities with Matt Breida (ankle) out. After starting the season on the practice squad, Wilson finishes the season averaging 4.0 YPC and also showed some receiving chops with 12 grabs for 98 yards. The Niners will enter the offseason with a crowded backfield situation with Jerick McKinnon (knee), Breida, Raheem Mostert (arm) and Wilson all expected to return healthy in 2019.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
