5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jeffery Wilson could be poised for more work in Week 9’s Thursday night game against the Arizona Cardinals. Both Matt Breida (ankle) and Raheem Mostert (knee) are game-time decisions, potentially making the fourth-string Wilson the only healthy back behind Tevin Coleman. Wilson sparked fantasy buzz in Weeks 2-3 operating as the Niners goal-line threat, scoring four touchdowns on 18 carries. He’d operate in a similar capacity if neither Breida nor Mostert are active. Even with Coleman dominating touches, the run-heavy Niners have doled out carries indiscriminately. As heavy favorites, keep Wilson on tap as a plug-and-play flex pending the final active roster.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
