6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jeffery Wilson totaled 134 yards on 23 touches in Week 13 filling in for an injured Matt Breida (ankle). With Breida ruled out in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos, Wilson should man the backfield again for the Niners. The undrafted rookie from North Texas rushed for 1,215 yards and 16 touchdowns in his final collegiate season and bright spots from his scouting report include pass-catching ability and good vision. However, he doesn’t grade well in speed or ball security (Wilson lost a fumble in Week 13). The major risk for the inexperienced Wilson is the Niners reverting to a backfield committee, but with slogging veteran Alfred Morris and fullback Kyle Juszczyk as alternative options, Wilson clearly holds the most upside. With his upstart performance in Week 13 and involvement in the passing game, Wilson is an RB3 against the Broncos.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
