Jeimer Candelario Not Starting On Monday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario isn't in the lineup on Monday for a matchup with the Chicago White Sox and left-handed starter Carlos Rodon. The third baseman has arguably been Detroit's best hitter this season. In 588 plate appearances this season, Candelario is batting .273 with a .349 on-base percentage and 16 home runs. It'll be Isaac Paredes starting at third base and batting eighth against the White Sox on Monday. Paredes is hitting .256 with a .340 on-base percentage and a home run in 47 plate appearances for the Tigers this season. He could be worth a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.
