Jerad Eickhoff To Throw Live Batting Practice Saturday
6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff (hand) is scheduled to throw live batting practice on Saturday. He has been out all season dealing with a tingling sensation in his fingers. Manager Gape Kapler said that their plan is to make sure Eickhoff feels healthy and can execute his pitches before determining a return date. However, if he's able to stay healthy, perhaps the Phillies starter could return in mid-to-late August. Last season, Eickhoff pitched to a 4-8 record with a 4.71 ERA and a 118/53 K/BB ratio.
