Jeremy Sprinkle Facing Rough Matchup At Home
5 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jeremy Sprinkle has never capitalized on the starting role despite holding it for most of the 2019 season. With that in mind, it matters little whether Vernon Davis (concussion) makes a surprising late-week turnaround or not. Sprinkle has not caught more than two passes nor eclipsed 25 yards receiving in any game this year. With rookie Dwayne Haskins taking over as the starting quarterback, there isn't any reason to believe Sprinkle will suddenly become a stable fantasy option. The Jets are holding tight ends to just under four catches per game.
