2 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon didn't record a single carry in the 17-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Thursday's preseason finale, but he did catch one of his two targets for a three-yard gain. McKinnon wasn't very involved in this one, suggesting that he'll open the 2022 regular season as Clyde Edwards-Helaire's primary backup after a strong training camp performance. The 30-year-old did very little for the Chiefs in 13 regular season games in 2021, but he was much more productive in the postseason with Edwards-Helaire banged up. McKinnon could have some deep-league appeal in PPR leagues, but unless Edwards-Helaire misses time with an injury, it's hard to see him making a weekly impact for fantasy managers in 12-team leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
