4 years agoSan Francisco 49ers running back Jerick McKinnon went from being a potential RB2/Flex option for Sunday’s game versus Miami to a likely bench commodity due to the likelihood of Raheem Mostert (knee) returning. McKinnon excelled in Mostert’s absence, having reeled off three consecutive games with a rushing touchdown. His production during that stretch will likely keep him in the mix, and he may have some high-upside DFS appeal even as a reserve rusher, but his season-long outlook will be stifled by Mostert’s presence going forward. McKinnon will be a name to keep an eye on as the season progresses.--Jesse Borek
