Jerick McKinnon Misses Practice With Injury
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Jerick McKinnon (hamstring) missed training camp practice on Wednesday with a strained hamstring. It remains to be seen if McKinnon will be able to suit up for the team's second preseason game this Saturday against the Washington Commanders. With McKinnon currently sidelined, rookie Isiah Pacheco and Ronald Jones will see more work behind starter Clyde Edwards-Helaire in camp. McKinnon is currently listed as the No. 2 behind Edwards-Helaire on the Chiefs' depth chart, but Pacheco has been very impressive this summer and might have earned himself a role behind CEH early in the year. In his first year in KC in 2021, McKinnon only had 12 carries for 62 yards and caught 13 passes for 107 yards and one touchdown in 13 regular season games.
