Jermaine Johnson II Could Go Earlier Than Expected In Draft
3 years agoFlorida State edge rusher Jermaine Johnson II is among the players who could go earlier than expected in the first round of the NFL draft on Thursday night. Johnson is one of the more fascinating players in this year's draft. Based on the way teams are targeting him, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said he wouldn't be surprised if he sneaks into the first 10 picks of the first round. The New York Jets could target an edge rusher at No. 4 overall, but it remains to be seen if Johnson would come off the board that early. Johnson's name has been rising up draft boards this week, mainly because of the fact that there are very few really solid edge rushers in this year's class.
