3 years agoDallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones is working through a medical issue and won't be speaking with the Dallas media at the NFL scouting combine, according to the organization. The 79-year-old was present at the news conference at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, for a welterweight fight on Wednesday, but he remained in Dallas for the start of on-field workouts at the combine in Indianapolis on Thursday. Jones has held a media session inside the team's luxury bus to discuss a number of topics surrounding the team heading into the new league year each year at the combine. That obviously won't happen this year. It was reported on Friday that the Cowboys plan to trade or release wide receiver Amari Cooper in order to avoid paying him $20 million in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
