3 years agoCarolina Hurricanes forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi has been ruled out for two to three weeks with a lower-body injury. He was hurt in Monday's 6-1 win over Washington and has already missed one game. It looks like he will sit out a further eight games at least. Kotkaniemi hasn't filled a big role for the Hurricanes, but he's been pretty productive in limited minutes with 11 goals and 26 points in 63 games. Steven Lorentz replaced him in the lineup on Tuesday against Tampa and Jordan Martinook will take over Thursday night.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
