4 years agoKansas City Royals relief pitcher Jesse Hahn (shoulder) has been placed on the 10-day injured list with a right shoulder impingement, the team announced on Monday. In a corresponding move, they recalled pitcher Jake Newberry from the alternate site. Hahn has not looked great this year, posting a 13.50 ERA with four walks and three strikeouts in 3 1/3 innings of work. With Hahn out, Newberry can be a solid, high-strikeout middle reliever target in SV/HLD formats, coming off a Spring Training performance in which he posted a 3.48 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 10 1/3 innings.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
