2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jesse Winker has finished his six-game suspension and is back in the starting lineup on Tuesday, starting in left field and batting fifth against Washington Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray. Winker will return to a .226/.341/.337 slash line with six home runs, 33 RBI and 26 runs scored in 331 plate appearances over 79 games this season. He's been much worse against right-handed pitchers in 2022 as well, hitting just .218 (44-for-202) with three home runs and 23 RBI in 241 plate appearances against them. Despite his subpar numbers this year, Winker should return to an everyday role in left field for the Mariners now that his suspension is in the rearview mirror.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
