2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jesse Winker is beginning his six-game suspension on Monday against the San Diego Padres with shortstop J.P. Crawford returning from his four-game suspension. Winker was handed a six-game suspension by Major League Baseball for his involvement in a benches-clearing brawl with the Los Angeles Angels on June 26. The 28-year-old has hit just .226/.341/.337 with six home runs, 33 RBI and 26 runs scored in his first year in Seattle after being acquired in a trade with the Cincinnati Reds. Dylan Moore and Justin Upton could share playing time in left field while Winker serves his suspension. Moore is starting in left and batting eighth on Monday against Padres left-hander Sean Manaea.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
