6 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker went 1-for-2 with a grand slam and a walk in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Cubs. Winker crushed a sixth-inning Randy Rosario fastball into the left center field seats, plating what would be the winning runs. The 24-year-old now has a .256/.367/.365 slash line with four home runs and 23 RBI in 241 plate appearances. With fellow outfielder Scott Schebler on the bereavement list, Winker will try to take advantage of consistent playing time in the short term.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
