2 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jesse Winker (ankle) left the game early on Sunday against the Houston Astros with a right ankle sprain. However, manager Scott Servais is optimistic that Winker's injury isn't a serious one, so he's being considered day-to-day for now. Winker went 1-for-2 in the game before departing and is now hitting .229/.336/.346 with eight home runs, 35 RBI and 28 runs scored in 369 plate appearances this season. Fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked if the 28-year-old left-handed hitter is not in the team's starting lineup on Monday for their series opener against the Texas Rangers.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
