4 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker (hip) left Saturday's game with a right hip contusion, according to C. Trent Rosencrans of The Athletic. Winker had grounded out in the bottom of the fifth inning before being replaced on defense in the top of the sixth. Winker said after the game that he felt fine and was just banged up a bit, but added that he wanted to see how he felt tomorrow morning before saying whether he expected to return to the lineup Sunday.
