3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Jesse Winker singled in Tuesday's 3-0 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays, extending his hitting streak to nine games. It was his only hit in four at-bats. After struggling to a .169/.326/.197 slash line in April, Winker has picked his production up considerably and he now carries a .226/.325/.323 line with two homers in 153 plate appearances. Fantasy managers will want to see more pop from the lefty slugger, but as long as he's maintaining his signature strong eye at the plate, he's bound to put better swings on the ball, and he's due for a little luck with a .250 BABIP which sits well below his career .307 mark.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
